LWML
The Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML) is composed of individual ladies who may belong to a society in their local, Lutheran congregation. The entire LWML Society (or there may be more than one society) in the congregation (also known in our constitution as a unit) is a member of the local, geographic LWML Zone.
Society Presidents attend Zone Board Meetings in Spring and Fall of each year to receive information the Zone President has collected at the District Board of Directors meeting in Jefferson City. The complete Zone Board is composed of elected and appointed officers, all Society Presidents in the Zone and includes a pastoral counselor.
The LWML Zone is a member of the local geographic District. We are the LWML, Missouri District. The Missouri District is comprised of 21 Zones. The LWML District Board of Directors meets in September and February of each year. Each meeting is attended by all Zone Presidents, elected and appointed officers of the LWML Missouri District, and its two pastoral counselors.
Missouri District LWMLThe Missouri (MO) District of LWML consists of 21 zones and 5,648 members. The District is governed by the LWML Constitution, Missouri District By-laws and Standing Rules, and the Board of Directors and its five committees:

LWML Mission Statement
As Lutheran Women in Mission, we joyfully proclaim Christ, support missions, and equip women to honor God by serving others.
The League Pledge
In fervent gratitude for the Savior's dying love and His blood-bought gift of redemption we dedicate ourselves to Him with all that we are and have; and in obedience to His call for workers in the harvest fields, we pledge Him our willing service wherever and whenever He has need of us. We consecrate to our Savior our hands to work for Him, our feet to go on His errands, our voice to sing His praises, our lips to proclaim His redeeming love, our silver and our gold to extend His Kingdom, our will to do His will, and every power of our life to the great task of bringing the lost and the erring into eternal fellowship with Him. Amen.
