to the Missouri District LWML Website,
where our focus is on missions and outreach.
Our goal is to reach all women in our district and provide the
spiritual growth opportunities needed to use their gifts in serving
others.

District LWML Convention which can be found here. The theme of the
convention is “Beautiful Feet…Led by God”, based on Isaiah 52:7.
Members of the
Southwest Missouri
and Springfield Zones invite you to join them for the 21st
Biennial Convention of the Missouri District LWML. The convention will
be held at the University Plaza Hotel & Convention Center in
Springfield
June 11 – 13, 2010

It is not too early to register
for the convention and/or a pre-convention
tour to the beautiful Branson area. Branson is only a short
40-minute ride South of Springfield. The tours will leave the hotel on
chartered buses Friday morning at
9 a.m.
and return in time for all to attend the opening worship service Friday
night.
MISSION
WALK
– You will have opportunity
to participate in the Mission Walk on Saturday morning before convention
proceedings begin. If you indicate on your convention registration form
that you wish to participate in the walk, you will receive a ‘pledge
form’ for gathering pledges from family and friends. For those unable
to walk, you can participate in a virtual walk, which is gathering of
pledges.
MISSION
FAIR - If you have been
blessed with creative talents, please consider donating items to the Mission
Fair. At past conventions, popular items include handmade seasonal
home décor, jewelry, quilted items, and other gift items. All
proceeds from the Mission Walk and the Mission Fair go toward our
Mission Goal.
You are remembered in my prayers and I ask each of you to remember the
district officers and the convention committee in your prayers.
